Houseparty was born in 2012, when brothers J House & Masquenada set out to create a space where Detroiters could vibe, celebrate great music, and shine a spotlight on the city’s rising DJs, producers, and performers. What began as intimate underground gatherings in residential spaces has grown into a night that embodies the spirit of community and creativity. We bring fresh mixes that flow seamlessly through R&B, hip-hop, and dance music, crafting an experience that’s as diverse as Detroit itself. As a collective, our mission is simple: to keep Detroit’s communities alive with positive energy and unforgettable beats.
