Houseparty Detroit is a pop up event hosted by two native Detroiters. It is a night of original mixes, R&B, hiphop and DANCE music. Our events are normally held at various bars and underground locations around the city. Our goal as a collective is to keep Detroit’s diverse communities full of positive energy.
Houseparty began in 2012 by brothers, Jhouse & Masquenada who wanted to create an environment where Detroiters could hang out and pay homage to great music while also showcasing fellow local DJs, producers and performers. Houseparty got its name from its humble upbringings of underground parties being thrown in residential properties.
